It's the beginning of the New Year, a great time to take stock of where we've been and where we want to go. For most of the month of January, I'll be creating series of posts to help you do just that.

We may have held a life's dream closely, believing it will never happen to us, the idea is stupid, we're too old now to pursue it, ______ (fill in the blank). We can so easily self-censor, for a variety of reasons.
But when it comes to pursuing your life's dream, your calling, the purpose of your life, is very unwise to self-censor.  Here are just 5 reasons why it's important to pursue your life's dream.
When you pursue your life's dream:
  1. The very essence of yourself is expressed, as your life's dream at the core of who you are. To deny that dream is to deny yourself.
  2. You may inspire someone to follow theirs, changing their life in the process.
  3. You may discover your life's purpose.
  4. You will be giving to the world something no one else can give:  your uniqueness.
  5. You will be challenged, stretched and do things you never thought you could, making you an even more interesting human being.

BONUS TIP #6: The key to following and fulfilling your dream is to make sure that it is God's dream for you.
